I am an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Statistics and Mathematics at WU Vienna, in the group of Rüdiger Frey, and an associate member of the Emerging Risks Research Centre at Macquarie Business School.

I received my doctorate from TU Wien and Macquarie University under the supervision of Uwe Schmock and Pavel V. Shevchenko. Previously, I held a postdoctoral appointment in the group of Patrick Cheridito at ETH Zurich, where I was affiliated with the FinsureTech Hub in the Department of Mathematics and associated with the ETH AI Center.

My research is concerned with probability theory, stochastic analysis, and probabilistic aspects of machine learning, with applications in mathematical finance, insurance, and climate economics. Particular interests include approximation and simulation of stochastic systems, stochastic control, pricing and hedging, calibration and filtering, actuarial risk models, and risk management.
